Fiscal Policy Institute, Presidents’ Alliance File, and Partners File Amicus Briefs in Public Charge Litigation

Led by the Fiscal Policy Institute and the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration (Presidents’ Alliance), 11 economic, immigration, and research organizations filed amicus briefs in five different district court cases; the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals supporting a preliminary injunction of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ (USCIS) final public charge rule.
